His early career was travel oriented. As lead creative director for Elite Island Resorts he produced many award-winning campaigns throughout the Caribbean. As a designer for Certified Tours, he had the duty of designing ads and brochures for Certified Tours' numerous travel package partners including Delta Dream Vacations, Continental Grand Destinations and Cayman Airtours. As an art director at The Walt Disney Co., Octavio produced an international publication as well as designing consumer products and games.

During his tenure at Green, Octavio has worked extensively on innovative global campaigns for ultra-luxury real estate projects and luxury brands, delivering result-producing creative that has earned a multitude of Gold and Silver Addy's as well as other major industry awards.
